The Virginia Department of Agriculture and the Virginia Pesticide Control Board years ago created a program to help farmers dispose of unwanted pesticides. Unwanted pesticides come about mainly from changes in the regulated use of a product and a farmer is left holding a product that he or she cannot use on their particular crop/s. This program provides for a safe and responsible way to dispose of these unwanted products free of charge to the farmers. Dates and collection points have been set for the next disposal program and can be found here.
